The archetypes of real life . . .

I was looking forward to adding more “crazy quilt” pieces this week. As it worked out, though—my last post was prescient in its focus on Death.

A dear friend of mine has been declining for a while, but I hadn’t thought the end would come so soon, or so suddenly. Still . . . . mortality was obviously on my mind at the end of August.

And as you will have guessed, my friend passed away on the cusp of September.

I’ve suspended ordinary life for a little while. But look for a new EP next week, with fresh thoughts about the ways in which Tarot captures both the pivotal moments and the ordinary occurrences that make up our lives.
