Daily Notes you might have missed last week:

  • Daily Notes #7: Some Tarot therapy thoughts revisited . . .

  • Daily Notes #8: Tarot and the many meanings of meditation . . .

  • Daily Notes #9: Tarot creativity? There’s a lot of it out there . . .

  • Daily Notes #10: Another revision, some lore—and a rant preview . . .

Also published last week on EP:

  • The Tuesday Newsletter (8.10) Tarot + poetry + haute couture

  • Makers of Modern Tarot: Part 2 Splinters and seeds . . .

More about Poetic Tarot:

After writing about Jack Spicer’s “Plan for a Tarot Book” in the Tuesday Newsletter, I discovered that artist Robert FitzGerald (a close friend) created a Jack Spicer Tarot deck, in 1969. Spicer had died several years earlier, so had no input on the design. But it’s a striking artifact, published in an edition of just 100 signed and numbered copies.

  • The Jack Spicer Tarot deck, created by artist Robert FitzGerald (Granary Books):

More about Couture Tarot:

I published a longer version of the Dior/Tarot story on Medium. Some additional lore, so you might want to have a look.

Tomorrow is the last Sunday email for now. It provides an update on what’s happened in the thirty days since I started this extra-effort EP experiment—plus a preview of what’s happening next.

Thanks for reading! C
