The Hanged Man has been turning up in my cards since February 2022, every time I have looked at the outcome as seen via President Zelenskyy. I was unduly optimistic initially re timescales for resolution. Pisces season comes to mind for a critical time frame with this card. But which year. But has been a sense throughout that Zelenskyy could be "hung out to dry" in a betrayal of the original terms of the Budapest Agreement, that Putin would get far more than he should, though also much less than he wants. I've usually thought about the Hanged Man in relation to suspension, but lately I've been focusing on the early history of the trump images, and I'm giving more credence to the background of "shame portraits" and punishment of traitors. From that perspective, I can see the Hanged Man as a direct (and increasingly clear) reference to Donald Trump.
